As Kias fully electric version of the popular Niro, the EX Premium trim builds on the already well-equipped EX model with high-end upgrades that cater to modern drivers seeking performance, innovation, and everyday versatility.

Under the hoodor more accurately, under the bodythe Niro EV is powered by a 150kW (201-horsepower) AC synchronous electric motor paired with a 64kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. This setup delivers strong acceleration and smooth, quiet driving with zero tailpipe emissions. The included 7.2kW onboard charger supports Level 2 charging at home or on the go, while the DC fast charge port (480V) integrated into the front grille allows the battery to charge from 0 to 80% in about an hour at compatible stations. Adjustable regenerative braking, controlled via paddle shifters, enhances energy efficiency and driver control.

The EX Premium rides on stylish 17-inch alloy wheels and includes the Cold Weather Package, adding a battery heater and heat pump to improve performance and efficiency in cold climates. With the EX Premium Launch Edition package, you also get added conveniences like LED headlights, a heated steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and front/rear parking distance warningideal for navigating tight urban spaces.
